Most companies have a mission statement, a values list, a vision. At Stellaract we package all such things into a single integrated philosophy of good architecture. Our philosophy of architecture informs what we build, how we build it, and why we build it.
Post-Frame
A building without a structure is like a novel without a plot. At Stellaract we design integrated buildings with expressed structural elements that harmonize with the building’s program, reduce part count, and widen clear-spans for windows and doors.
Design-Build
The title “architect” comes from the Greek “arkhi” meaning chief and “tekton” meaing builder, carpenter, or mason. Unfortunately too few architects today are masters of building. More often they are masters of presenting, designing, drawing, specifying, and regulatory compliance, and building is someone else’s job. At Stellaract we believe that design cannot be divorced from execution, so we prefer whenever possible to build our own work.
Real Finishes
No imitation finish materials. No monochrome color pallets.
Ella’s Rule
Everything you create at this company must be of the quality that you would make something if you were making it for the love of your life—the most adored person in your world. Whether your Ella is a crush, a partner, a daughter, or son, let that which you create here be a gift from the highest within you to the highest thing in the universe.
At Stellaract, Ella is at the center of all we do.
